Music is integral to the KINGDOMS Series, and in some ways to me personally—but that is another long story. When working on the series, a lot of times I used placeholder songs until I could come up with my own lyrics, and that did generally work. Until it came time for THE DESTINED KINGDOM and the song Tasia sang to shatter her own soul and awaken as a sorceress. At that point, stumped, I turned to the only person I knew who could help, Kylie Jude of Frozen Creek Studios. Kylie and I have worked together before (she made the theme for the 3rd DISTRICT Series) and she has a way of reading between the lines of what I give her, and giving me back perfection.
And so it happened again when she sent me Light In The Dark, where she had accidentally packed so much more symbolism than she realized, including foreshadowing to future events to come. Now here, posted for the first time, is the lyric video she created for the song, and the song in its entirety. You can go back to the chapter and listen to the song while reading the scene, and it will have so much more depth.
Some of the foreshadow of this song is even coming in THE CHAOTIC KINGDOM which is right around the corner . . . I wonder what it will be . . .
